PREAMBLE
Align & Thrive retreat is an independent project. For any inquiries, please contact us at alignandthriveretreat@gmail.com. It is represented by Charlotte Da Silva Feleciano, in her capacity as President.
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (TCS) govern online sales for the Align & Thrive retreat and any individual or legal entity (the "Client") wishing to book a retreat through the website. They are written in English in their original version, which shall prevail over any translation.
ARTICLE 1: SCOPE
These TCS apply to all bookings for the Align & Thrive retreat made through Align & Thrive retreat website, whether from Portugal or abroad. By placing an order, the Client fully accepts these TCS without reservation.
These TCS override any other document. If any clause is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain fully applicable.
ARTICLE 2: ELIGIBILITY AND AGE LIMITATION
Align & Thrive retreat are intended for adults women with legal capacity. Minors may only participate with written permission from a parent or legal guardian and with Align & Thrive retreat’s prior approval.
ARTICLE 3: BOOKING
The Client selects the service of their choice on the website. After reviewing the summary of their order, the Client confirms their order by accepting these Terms and Conditions. This confirmation constitutes evidence of the sales contract.
The sale of the service will be considered final once Align & Thrive retreat has sent an order confirmation email along with the corresponding invoice, after full payment of the required deposit has been received.
The information in the confirmation email constitutes the agreement between the Client and Align & Thrive retreat. Any order placed on the website constitutes the formation of a distance contract between the Client and Align & Thrive retreat (hereinafter referred to as the "Contract").
Align & Thrive retreat reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a Client with whom there is an existing dispute related to the payment of a previous order. Retreats are available only while places last.
ARTICLE 4: PRICES
Prices are shown in euros, including VAT. They cover only the services specified in the retreat description. Travel costs, personal insurance, and any other additional expenses are the Client’s responsibility.
Rates are fixed during their period of validity as displayed on the website.
ARTICLE 5: PAYMENT
Each booking requires a non-refundable deposit (amount specified for each retreat). The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the retreat begins. Payment is made by bank transfer or other methods indicated on the site.
If the balance is not paid by the due date, Align & Thrive retreat reserves the right to cancel the booking without refunding the deposit.
In the event of delay or non-payment, Align & Thrive retreat reserves the right to refuse any new order from the Client. Any unpaid amount will incur late payment penalties.
ARTICLE 6: SERVICE DELIVERY
Retreat services are described on the website. The schedule or program may be modified without prior notice to ensure quality or safety.
The Client must inform Align & Thrive retreat of any relevant conditions (allergies, medical treatment, disability, dietary needs, etc.). Bookings are personal and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
ARTICLE 7: CANCELLATION POLICY
7.1 Cancellation by Align & Thrive retreat: If Align & Thrive retreat cancels a retreat (e.g., due to low enrollment), all payments will be fully refunded. No other compensation will be due.
7.2 Cancellation by the Client: Deposits are non-refundable.
- If cancellation occurs more than 60 days before the retreat: any additional amounts paid (excluding the deposit) may be transferred to a future retreat, subject to availability.
- If cancellation occurs within 60 days of the retreat: no refund will be issued.

ARTICLE 8: NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The services ordered on the website are not subject to the right of withdrawal. They are exclusively subject to the cancellation and modification conditions set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
ARTICLE 9: LIABILITY
Align & Thrive retreat shall not be held liable for any damage arising from the Client’s actions, third-party acts, or force majeure. The Client is solely responsible for their health, belongings, and conduct during the retreat.
ARTICLE 10: INSURANCE
No insurance is included in the retreat packages. Clients are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellations, personal liability, and repatriation.
ARTICLE 11: PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Personal information collected is necessary for managing bookings. It is treated as confidential and never shared with third parties. The Client may request access, correction, opposition, or deletion of their data by contacting: alignandthriveretreat@gmail.com.
ARTICLE 12: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, visuals, texts, and materials provided during the retreat are protected by intellectual property laws. No reproduction or distribution is permitted without prior authorization.
ARTICLE 13: FORCE MAJEURE
If an event of force majeure (natural disaster, war, pandemic, etc.) makes it impossible to fulfill the contract, it will be suspended. No refund or compensation will be owed.
ARTICLE 14: AMENDMENT OF THE TCS
Align & Thrive retreat reserves the right to amend these TCS at any time. The applicable TCS are those in effect at the time of booking.
ARTICLE 15: GOVERNING LAW – DISPUTES
In the event of a dispute, the parties will attempt to resolve the issue amicably. If the dispute persists, it will be submitted to the competent courts. The Client may resort to conventional mediation or any alternative dispute resolution method in case of disagreement.
